A goal is something positive until it is tried out.
For when we try to prove ourselves, we take an unknown route.
A goal is much more easy when it's said than when it's done.
It takes a lot of patience, and it is not always fun.
A goal is soon abandoned when it seems too hard to do.
But when it's carried to the end, it's great to see it through.
A goal is opportunity for progress and success;
a time to give our very best and never any less.
A goal is contribution to the welfare of a soul;
a way to turn potential into glory as a whole.
A goal is our perfection at long range as we endure.
And every goal we keep makes each new step we take secure.
A goal is something positive for those who do not quit;
for anything worthwhile takes perseverence, faith, and wit.
