"I Am"

I am what I am because God made me so.
I am certainly flawed, but I learn as I go.
I am changing each day. I hope God will approve.
I am feeling so small with all I have to prove.
I am nothing myself, but with God I am strong.
I am seeking His path, but the way is so long.
I am fighting myself, because God lets me fight.
I am fighting myself just to do what is right.
I am so far from perfect, but God lights my way.
I am clinging to hope that he offers each day.
I am learning in time that God stands by my side.
I am closest to Him when I let go of pride.
I am trying so hard, and God helps me, I know.
I am lost without Him. I don't know where to go.
I am doing my best. God knows how hard I try.
I am blessed to know God cares for me from on high.
