"You Need Some Fun"

Like a snake on a footpath on a hot summer day,
life can jump out and bite you in a most dreadful way.
You can struggle and suffer, doing everything right,
but you better beware of the theif in the night.
For a life is not meant for all work and no play,
and the priceless posessions will dwindle someday.
It is wise to place effort in work you must do,
but with all of life's trials, you need some fun too.
There is much more to living than making ends meet;
and the bravest of Generals know when to retreat.
So when life tries your patience do what needs to be done,
then forget all that nonsense and go have some fun.
