Chicken Recipe

5 Chicken Breasts (boneless and skinless)
1 Stick of Butter (1/2 cup)
4 Green Onions (finely chopped)
3 pounds Lean Ham Steak
3 Eggs
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
2 Cups Flour
1/8 tsp Thyme
1/8 tsp Oregano
1/8 tsp Cilantro
1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 Tbsp Cream Cheese
2 Cups Bread Crumbs

Directions:
This process is somewhat involved, but follow these
steps and you won't go wrong.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit

PREPARE BOWL 1: Cut up green onions and place them in a small
bowl. Set aside.

Grease a cookie sheet and set aside(the chicken will be cooked in
the oven on the cookie sheet).

PREPARE BOWL 2: Place 2 Cups of Flour into a medium sized
bowl and set aside.

PREPARE BOWL 3 Break 3 Eggs into another medium sized bowl
and mix them thoroughly. Set aside.

PREPARE BOWL 4: Place 2 Cups of Bread Crumbs into another
medium sized bowl and set aside.

PREPARE CHICKEN: Wrap a chicken breast in plastic wrap and
pound the chicken on both sides to repeatedly until it is flattened
(the plastic will keep the chicken fluids from splashing when you
pound the chicken).

Remove plastic wrap from chicken and place a breast flat on
a plate.

Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the chicken breast.

Sprinkle the following onto the butter (on the chicken):
1 tsp Green Onions
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/8 tsp Thyme
1/8 tsp Oregano
1/8 tsp Cilantro

ADD HAM: Cut a piece of ham steak to fit the chicken and lay it
over the butter and spices (on the chicken)

Place 1/2 Tbsp of Cream Cheese on the Ham.

Sprinkle 1/2 Cup of Mozarella Cheese on top of the
Cream Cheese.

CLOSE UP THE CHICKEN: Fold the entire chicken breast over in
half so the ingredients added onto it are covered.

PREPARE THE BREADING ON OUTSIDE OF CHICKEN: Roll the
outside of the chicken breast in the bowl of flour to coat it.

Dip the chicken breast in the bowl of eggs to cover it.

Roll the chicken breast in the bowl of bread crumbs to coat it.

FINISH PREPARATION FOR COOKING: Place the chicken breast
on the cookie sheet.

Repeat this process with all 5 chicken breasts.

Cooking Directions

Place all Chicken Cordon Bleu pieces onto the greased cookie sheet.

Set the cookie sheet in the oven and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
for between 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes (cooking
time will vary depending on your oven).

If the outer coating of the chicken appears to be burning or getting too
dark at any time during cooking, cover the cookie sheet with aluminum
foil for the remainder of the cooking time.
