"Teryaki Beef Fettuccini"

Teryaki Beef Fettuccini is a hearty and flavorful meal that is sure to bring smiles to the table. With marinated beef and a savory teryaki sauce there is much to love about this recipe.

Serves 5


Teryaki Beef Fettuccini Recipe

You will need:
2 pounds of thinly sliced beef eye of round steak
12 Ounces Fettuccine Pasta

Marinade Recipe

1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
2 Tbsp Vinegar
2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Celery Seed
1/2 tsp Dill Weed



Directions for Marinade

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

Mix well and pour into a large freezer bag.

Place the beef into the bag and seal the bag shut. Rub the marinade
into all of the meat.

Place the bag of meat and marinade in the refrigerator to marinate
for 30 minutes.


Beef Ingredients

2 pounds of Beef (eye of round steak, thinly sliced)
1 Yellow Onion
1 Green Bell Pepper
1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil


Directions for Beef

Chop one yellow onion and one green bell pepper finely and place in
a bowl.

Place 1/4 cup of vegetable oil in a large skillet and begin heating on
high heat.

Add meat and vegetables together in the large skillet as the oil is
heating.

Fry the meat and vegetables to desired doneness.

Drain off any excess oil.

Allow meat to cool sufficiently to handle.

Cut meat into 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch slices.


Teryaki Sauce Ingredients (makes approximately 3 cups of sauce)

2 1/4 Cups Beef Broth
1 1/2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Vinegar
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
3 Tbsp Corn Starch
1 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder

1 1/2 tsp Onion Powder


Directions for Teryaki Sauce

Put 3 Tbsp of cornstarch in a small bowl with 3 tbsp of cold water
and set aside.

Combine all other ingredients in a saucepan.

Heat on medium-high (3/4) heat to a gentle boil.

When a gentle boil is achieved, stir corn starch and water mixture
and slowly add small portions of the corn starch into the boiling
sauce while stirring. Continue adding the corn starch mixture into the
boiling sauce until all of it is used.

Continue stirring mixture until it thickens to a consistency of a thin
syrup.

Remove from heat when desired consistency is achieved.


Fettuccini Pasta Directions

One 12 Ounce Package of Fettuccini Noodles

Directions for Fettuccini Pasta

Cook 12 ounces of fettuccini pasta in a large saucepan with water.

Strain noodles without rinsing them in a large strainer.


Preparation and Serving Directions

Preparation
Prepare marinade first and marinate beef for 30 minutes in
refrigerator.

Chop up green bell pepper and onion while beef is marinating.

Prepare teryaki sauce while beef is marinating.

Fry meat and vegetables together when marinating is completed.

Cut meat into 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch pieces.

Cook fettuccini pasta.

Serving
Place desired amount of pasta on a plate.

Place desired amount of beef on top of the pasta.

Pour desired amount of teryaki sauce on top of the meat and pasta.
