3/4 Cup Beef Broth
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Vinegar (white)
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tsp Corn Starch
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
Directions for Marinade
Put 1 Tbsp of cornstarch in a small bowl
with 1 tbsp of cold water
and set aside.
Combine all other ingredients in a saucepan.
Heat on medium-high (3/4) heat to a gentle boil.
When a gentle boil is achieved, stir corn starch and water
mixture
and slowly add small portions of the corn starch into the boiling
sauce while stirring. Continue adding the corn starch mixture into the
boiling sauce until all of it is used.
Continue stirring mixture until it thickens to a consistency of a
thin
syrup.
Remove from heat when desired consistency is achieved.
